Ian brings extensive investment and advisory experience, having spent nearly two decades as a partner at YFM Equity Partners and twelve years as an associate director at KPMG. He currently serves as an investment committee member at YFM Equity Partners alongside his role as trustee and treasurer at Overgate Hospice.

This funding enables us to invest in the platform to better support decision-making for the students and the sector. While researching mainland Europe and the US, we discovered similar challenges and are working with launch partners to expand the platform into these geographies. In the UK, we are further innovating the platform to enhance data-driven decision-making."
YFM Equity Partners backed the digital funeral planning provider to support its expansion and marketing efforts.

Importantly, they are doing so with a clear sense of purpose – helping to modernise and improve an industry that has historically underserved consumers. We were particularly impressed by the strength and ambition of the team, and their vision to build a broader end-of-life planning platform."
The investment was led by YFM Equity Partners and will be used to expand the team and accelerate product development.

The Belfast sports technology company has raised £9m led by YFM Equity Partners to drive recruitment and expand into new markets.
