Vypr secures £3.4m in Series A follow-on funding led by YFM Equity Partners to support commercial growth.
YFM Equity Partners provided the majority of the £3.4m capital injection alongside contributions from management and chairman Richard Law.
Vypr operates a product intelligence platform that helps global brands understand changing consumer behaviour through rapid behavioural science insights. The company enables major supermarkets and food and drink manufacturers to test and validate product ideas.
Manchester-based consumer insights business Vypr has secured £3.4m in a Series A follow-on investment round. YFM Equity Partners provided £3m of the total, with additional contributions from chairman Richard Law, management, and existing shareholders.
The capital will be directed towards enhancing the company product offerings and expanding commercial operations. This latest financing follows a period of rapid expansion that saw revenues double over the past eighteen months and the appointment of several senior executives, including CEO Kevin Baldwin.
YFM has now invested a cumulative total of £5.5m in the firm. Richard Law has increased his stake to become the second largest shareholder with more than 10 percent of the business.
