TeamFeePay secures £9m from YFM Equity Partners and other backers to fund European expansion
The Belfast sports technology company has raised £9m led by YFM Equity Partners to drive recruitment and expand into new markets.
TeamFeePay builds software for grassroots sports clubs to manage fixtures, attendance and administrative tasks. The Belfast-based firm helps coaches reduce time spent on paperwork.
TeamFeePay has secured £9m in equity financing to accelerate its international expansion and drive recruitment. The capital injection was led by YFM Equity Partners alongside the Investment Fund for Northern Ireland, Techstart and private backers. The funds will support the creation of 75 new roles across sales, marketing and product development over the next two years as the company scales its operations in the UK and Europe.
Founded in 2021, the sports technology firm provides a digital platform designed to streamline fixture planning, attendance tracking and fee collection for grassroots sports organisations. The company currently supports over 1,500 clubs and nearly 300,000 users. With the backing of its new investors, TeamFeePay aims to further develop its technology stack and extend its footprint across European markets.
