Vypr secures £5m from YFM Equity Partners and other backers to drive international expansion

The £5m round was led by YFM Equity Partners to accelerate global growth and platform development.

£5.0M

Vypr operates a product intelligence platform that helps global brands understand changing consumer behaviour through rapid behavioural science insights. The company enables major supermarkets and food and drink manufacturers to test and validate product ideas.

Manchester-based product intelligence platform Vypr has raised £5m in new funding to accelerate its international growth and technological development. The round was led by specialist private equity firm YFM Equity Partners with a £4m contribution, alongside £1m from management and other investors, bringing the company total funding to £13.4m.

The capital will be deployed to support the launch of Vypr's next generation platform, which introduces self-service international market insights and AI-driven features. Expansion will target international territories including Australia, the United States, and major European markets, alongside adjacent sectors in retail and fast-moving consumer goods.

Vypr has achieved a compound annual growth rate exceeding 40% and annual recurring revenue above £6m since YFM initial backing in 2021. Its client base includes major retailers such as Aldi, Asda, and Marks and Spencer, alongside global brands like Brewdog, Kraft Heinz, and Red Bull.
