TiPJAR raises £4.5m from YFM Equity Partners to scale its hospitality tipping platform

TiPJAR operates a digital platform that helps hospitality venues collect, manage, and distribute staff tips and service charges. The company provides compliant tools to ensure transparent payouts for thousands of workers across the sector.

TiPJAR has secured £4.5m in new funding to expand its team and accelerate product development. The investment was led by YFM Equity Partners, with advisory support from Mountside Ventures.

The capital will allow the company to scale its cashless tipping technology across the UK and explore new international markets. Founded in 2019, the firm processes substantial tip volumes for tens of thousands of hospitality workers.

This injection of capital arrives as operators face mounting compliance demands ahead of new tipping legislation. YFM Equity Partners will work closely with the leadership team to support the next stage of company growth.
