The Angel CoFund is a privately managed institution that invests alongside groups of business angels in high potential small and medium enterprises across the UK.
George is a partner at ACF Investors and chairs the Clean Growth Fund, having previously cofounded the Venture Capital Trust Association. His career includes investment and board roles with Angel CoFund, Octopus Ventures, and the UK Business Angels Association.
The funding round was led by Technology Venture Partners alongside government backing to support the commercialisation of a new breast scanning system.

Cambridge Angels and REMUS led the seed round to support international expansion and product development.

The financing will support clinical trials, product development and team expansion as the business pursues international regulatory approvals.

Par Equity led the Series A round to support technology development and commercial expansion.

The London-based digital branding platform secured £2m from Notion Capital, Angel CoFund, and VentureFounders.

The London based data technology start up secured backing from the Angel CoFund to advance its artificial intelligence platform.

The biotechnology spin-out raised funds from backers including the Angel CoFund and o2h Ventures alongside Department of Health and Social Care grants.

Longwall Ventures and the Angel CoFund led the Series A round to support the development of advanced metal 3D printing systems.

Angel CoFund, Beacon Capital, and Richard Hargreaves led the round, which will fund platform development for legal, RPO, and insurance markets.

The Manchester-based messaging platform raised the capital from backers including GP Bullhound and the Angel CoFund to accelerate expansion.

The Belfast-based health technology firm secured Series A backing from investors including Wharton Asset Management and IQ Capital to advance its neurological research and medical trials.

Draper Esprit led the Series B financing round to support international expansion and product development.
