"Culture and community are what drives music forward. It’s how we connect with where we’ve come from and where we want to go. Condense’s technology is opening up a new platform for these communities and cultures, diversifying the voices in the metaverse by making it live and accessible. It’s got the potential to inspire and empower a new movement of artists and fans. This is both exciting, and significant."

Tiger Global Management led the Series A round to support international expansion and product growth.
"When we started Otta, people told us job search was soul-crushing. Recruitment felt like it was stuck in the classifieds era. We believe there’s a different way, and we call it candidate-first job search. It’s a new category that flips industry dynamics on its head. Candidates are prioritised, rather than treated like second-class citizens, and this attracts the best talent to our product"
The Series A round was co-led by Index Ventures and Insight Partners to broaden the company data coverage.
"The market is one of the world’s most powerful tools against climate change. But we need reliable data to determine the quality of carbon offsets, in order to incentivize people to invest in the projects that are actually doing good – and to reward the project developers doing good work."
LocalGlobe has led a seed financing round for Academy to build talent and leadership infrastructure for the technology sector.
"Too many of the most talented individuals are not able to access careers in technology – creating a talent bottleneck for the whole of the tech industry. If we are to build a globally successful tech industry then we need the best people starting their careers in technology at fast-growing companies – the exact talent blueprint that drove THG to its multi-billion dollar success. This funding round will help Academy to create that common talent and leadership infrastructure for the most ambitious companies."
The pre-seed round was led by LocalGlobe to scale the carbon removal platform ahead of COP26.
"Most businesses understand that the only way to prevent a climate emergency involves meaningful action from the private sector. The problem today is not a lack of commitment, but a lack of trusted resources in an industry full of complexity, jargon and greenwashing."
LocalGlobe and MMC Ventures backed the seed round to support the launch of its personalised menopause care application.
"At Vira, our vision is to fundamentally transform long term health and wellbeing for women. We believe better menopause care is the first step. Female health issues have historically been under-researched and under-invested, and this remains the case today. There is an opportunity to use technology to redress this balance by improving the collection and use of female data in healthcare. This first round of seed funding is a step towards realising our vision."

The financing was backed by LocalGlobe and Hoxton Ventures to support product development and international growth.
"One reason for the recent decline in the uptake of rapid Covid-19 tests is the sampling technique – it’s currently very uncomfortable and difficult for people to use. We need to take the pain out of mass testing if we’re to return to normal to minimise the disruption caused by future COVID-19 outbreaks, whether in offices, schools or hospitality venues. That’s why we’ve built supportive bio security technology that sits alongside the test, allowing users to generate their own unique QR codes to facilitate safe venue entry."
The seed round was led by LocalGlobe and Venrex to support product expansion and clinical trials.
"We live in a society that expects us to tolerate pain and mask our symptoms. Some women spend over ten years on their contraception, never fully knowing if there might be something wrong"
Andreessen Horowitz and LocalGlobe co-led the seed financing to fund platform growth and team expansion.
"Dining at home should be flavourful, meaningful, and exciting, a departure from the everyday and generic takeaway. Dishpatch creates an entirely new and profitable revenue stream for restaurants, while enabling access to high quality menus no matter where you live. We’re giving the best chefs bigger tables, hand selecting both award-winners and hidden gems yet to be discovered."
The oversubscribed Series B round was co-led by Dawn Capital and Target Global.

Their backing, and continued support from our strong client base, is a testament to the quality of the business we are building."

"At a time of ongoing uncertainty, our goal is to provide confidence in a sector notorious for struggling to stick to deadlines or budgets. By using some of the most powerful machine learning capabilities in the world to analyse what worked and what didn’t in past projects, we can help our customers work out what’s going to derail their own initiatives, and stop problems happening before they even appear."
LocalGlobe led the seed investment in the virtual venue platform, with participation from several prominent angels and firms.
"Once the pandemic hit, we both saw productivity surge in our respective teams but at the same time, people were missing the in-office culture. Video conferencing platforms provide a great service when it comes to meetings, but they lack the spontaneity and fun that form the basis of our relationships. Cosmos is a way to bring back that human connection that we’re lacking when we spend all day online, by providing a virtual world where you can play a game of Pictionary after work with colleagues or gather round a table to celebrate a friend’s birthday."
LocalGlobe has led a £3.7m seed round for quantum software developer Phasecraft, with participation from Episode1 and previous backers.

With new funding and supporters, we can be part of building the foundations of the quantum computing industry, making useful applications available quicker than ever thought."
LocalGlobe and Sands Capital Ventures led the financing round, which will fund research and quality control expansion.
"Most of the world’s videos – billions of hours of content – are shackled to a single language. And that’s for a simple reason – quality dubbing is prohibitively expensive and time-consuming, so current solutions only work for a select group of deep-pocketed content owners. Speech translation technology fundamentally changes the dynamics of how content is distributed and monetised. The technology we created will level the playing field – allowing all forms of video and audio to be consumed in any language, therefore vastly multiplying the potential reach for all content creators."
The Series B round was led by EQT Ventures with backing from several existing investors and angels.

"Human reality is incredibly complex, and while technology has made progress in healthcare and pharmaceuticals, we’re still no closer to truly understanding the decisions that we make. Our behaviour is captured online and in the artificial reality of social media, but the near 80 percent of our lives that happens in the offline world, remains untapped,"
The Cambridge-founded legal tech company has secured £7.5m from Octopus Ventures and existing backers to scale its US presence and sales operations.

The seed round was led by LocalGlobe with backing from Global Founders Capital and angel investors.
"During our research we spoke with hundreds of teams who were struggling to move quickly because of the limitations of their data infrastructure. The teams making the most progress were having to invest hundreds of thousands of dollars a year, across separate solutions, to help them get their data under control and it was taking them up to 12-18 months to purchase and implement it all."
The Series A round was led by A/O Proptech and DMG Ventures with backing from several venture firms.
