"I spent over 12 years working in the recruitment industry and know how time consuming business development can be. Recruiters use manual processes to match the best candidates with great companies. Automating these processes will reduce costs and increase productivity for recruiters, which could have a significant impact on one of the UK’s largest professional services industry, and create a more efficient and competitive employment market in the process."

"We believe the future of sales is driven by digital experiences that enable buyers. As competition increases, teams are forced to differentiate not only with the service they provide but also with the way they sell. Helping buyers make informed decisions is the new definition of success and sadly, email threads no longer achieve this. This funding will allow us to realise our ambition to build the de facto medium where B2B sales happens."
Antler led the seed round with participation from notable angel investors to support platform development.
"As one of the world’s most active early-stage investors, we are typically the first money in and continue our support with investments up to Series C. We invest in only 1% of more than 50,000 founders we meet annually and currently have 40+ companies in our UK portfolio. We were impressed early on by the drive of Mast’s co-founders, who instantly stood out. After backing the team with their first investment, we are thrilled to lead this next round as well. The broader participation of other great investors is further validation that there is significant support around applying deep industry experience and new technologies to solve this decades-old problem in lending."
The pre-seed round was led by Antler to fund product development, team expansion, and international growth.
"People want help but they just don’t know where to get it – the internet is a minefield of bad advice so we make parenting that little bit easier by democratising access to hundreds of experts. From humble beginnings brainstorming around my kitchen table, we are now seeing a fast uptake of experts and users worldwide with an average growth of 88% month on month. Our goal is to help as many families as we can, at whatever life stage they are at. With the launch of the app, we hope to bring this even closer to reality. The positive feedback received from our community is why we’re doing this!"

"The business case for better workplace support for those living with chronic health conditions is undoubted. The sickness absence rate for those with a long-term health condition was 4.4% in 2018, compared with 1.1% for those without such a condition. Many long-term conditions can be prevented through lifestyle changes, yet people struggle to find the right information and support to make those changes. We’re here to change that. Our vision is a world where everyone finds it easy to be proactive about their health."
