Overmind secures £2m in seed funding to expand its agentic AI security platform
The seed round was led by Osney Capital with backing from several venture firms to scale technical teams and product development.
Overmind develops a supervision platform designed to monitor and secure autonomous agentic AI systems in real time.
London-based Overmind has secured a £2m seed round led by Osney Capital, with participation from 14Peaks, Portfolio Ventures, Antler, and Endurance Ventures. The company provides a supervision layer that monitors autonomous AI agents in real time, detecting behavioural drift and halting harmful actions before human intervention is required.
The newly acquired capital will be directed towards expanding technical teams, accelerating product development, and strengthening go-to-market operations. Overmind plans to focus initially on highly regulated sectors such as legal, healthcare, and fintech, where automated systems must comply with strict privacy and risk management standards.
From the founder
"The AI security industry is trying to secure the wrong thing. Models will always be vulnerable to adversarial inputs – that’s a fundamental property of how they work. But what happens when an agent is live in production, interacting with real systems, and its behaviour starts to drift? Right now, most teams have no idea. Overmind provides the deployment-layer infrastructure needed to monitor agent interactions and intervene before damage occurs."

Investor perspective
"In the new frontier of autonomous AI, agent security, performance, and execution are the ultimate competitive advantages. Overmind provides businesses with truly differentiated technology that monitors and secures agentic AI while iteratively improving model performance, enabling teams to scale with confidence. We’re excited to back such a strong founding team addressing a critical market."
