"The AI security industry is trying to secure the wrong thing. Models will always be vulnerable to adversarial inputs – that’s a fundamental property of how they work. But what happens when an agent is live in production, interacting with real systems, and its behaviour starts to drift? Right now, most teams have no idea. Overmind provides the deployment-layer infrastructure needed to monitor agent interactions and intervene before damage occurs."
Amadeus Capital Partners led the seed round, which will fund team expansion and product development.
"We spent all our careers fighting criminal activity online and care deeply about elevating trust in the internet. The decision to develop the technology behind Refute came after seeing firsthand that disinformation targeting organisations was the next big threat vector, especially for commercial companies."
The London-based startup raised the capital from Osney Capital, Superseed, Tiny, and Rule30 to fuel product development and international expansion.
"Spreadsheet-based access tracking is now a legal and security liability. They need real-time visibility into who has access to what, before attackers or regulators find the gaps. That’s exactly the problem Ploy solves."
The financing was co-led by Amadeus Capital Partners and Manta Ray Ventures to support international expansion and product development.
"This investment allows us to expand our global reach, with sales and support engineering staff in Brazil, the US, India, and grow our Yorkshire headquarters. We will be adding engineers and production workers and moving into a new Sheffield location. The investment will also enable Sitehop to pursue its technology roadmap – fleshing out the range of SAFE products securing all types of data-in-motion, and developing parallel products using our world-class skillsets in cryptography and programmable hardware design. We aim to get Sitehop’s products into the backbone of most of the world’s networks in the next few years."
