Occam Industries builds software-driven autonomy for unmanned aerial vehicles operating in GPS-denied environments.
Occam Industries has secured €3m in a pre-seed funding round led by Presto Tech Horizons, with participation from Czechoslovak Group, Antler, Freedom Fund, and TYR.vc. The capital will be deployed to accelerate front-line deployments and expand the company suite of autonomous support features.
The London-based defence tech startup provides onboard artificial intelligence designed to function independently of GPS and resist electronic warfare. Its software integrates with mass-produced drones without requiring airframe modifications.
The fresh capital follows recent field evaluations via Ukraine-based testing programmes, supporting the company strategy to scale operations across demanding security environments and reinforce NATO capabilities.
From the founder
"Every assumption is tested under pressure: latency, reliability, operator load, decision-making. What we build at Occam is shaped by that reality and then honed in combat conditions. Fundamentally, if a system cannot perform at the zero-line, we cannot trust troops or security to it, and it has no place in modern defence."
