The London-based company raised capital from Accel, Air Street Capital, and Elder Gull to grow its engineering team and scale deployments.

Google Ventures led the Series E financing round, which valued the video platform at $4bn.

Octopus Ventures led the seed financing, with participation from Horizons Ventures, Verve Ventures, and Air Street Capital, to commercialise live cell imaging technology.

The financing was co-led by Radical Ventures and Temasek to fuel expansion in the United States.
