The funding follows Mapify's selection as the sole Scottish startup in Antler's latest London residency cohort.
"Partnering with Antler in their new cohort is further validation of the problem we're solving and the results we're already delivering. Logistics downtime costs the global economy billions, and our mission is to put powerful, easy-to-use tools into the hands of every logistics manager to reduce that burden."
The funding round was co-led by Sustainable Future Ventures, Hearst Ventures and Elbow Beach to accelerate autonomous drone operations.
"sees.ai sits at the intersection of two defining megatrends of our time – the application of AI to unlock new levels of efficiency, and the global transition to clean energy. Their autonomous inspection technology has the potential to transform how critical infrastructure is managed, delivering safer, faster and more scalable insights. SFV is excited to back this outstanding team as they scale their solution, which is both commercially compelling and vital to the net zero transition."
Episode 1 led the pre-seed round for the software discovery platform alongside Dreamcraft and Portfolio Ventures.
"We’ve spent our careers building startups, and we learned firsthand that a company’s success is tied to the technology it chooses. These decisions can make or break products, and often shape the long-term fate of an entire business. As seasoned engineering and data leaders, we’ve built tech infrastructure from the ground up, making tough, high-stakes calls along the way. We didn’t always get things right. Tech moves quickly, but there’s a lack of reliable, up-to-date guidance to make these critical decisions. That gap revealed a huge opportunity for us to help organisations unlock their true potential and embrace modern tools with confidence in the age of AI. We’re building Dragonfly to be the technology companion we always wished we had – one that empowers every company to make faster, better choices about the software they use to build and scale."
The grant from the US Advanced Research Projects Agency for Health will support the POSEIDON programme for early oncology intervention.
"The field of cancer screening needs a revolution, and POSEIDON stands ready to deliver. The program allows for a better future by creating broadly accessible, at-home tests that will accurately detect 30+ cancers as early as Stage I, when tumours are still small and the chances of survival are high,"
AlbionVC led the investment round alongside Portage Ventures and MS&AD to support team expansion.
"Growing institutional participation is transforming crypto markets and creating a greater need for credible, independent risk intelligence. Agio Ratings provides a clear, data-driven view of the probability of default for exchanges and other institutions, and their alerts deliver a valuable independent signal alongside our own monitoring by flagging anomalous transaction patterns."
