"If you’ve ever bought a house in the UK, you’ll know exactly how painful the conveyancing process can be. Something that should take a matter of days can drag on for months, leaving you unsure when – or even if – you’ll get the keys to your new home. These delays are completely avoidable. We built Conveyd to remove unnecessary back-and-forth, so home buyers get complete purchases in weeks rather than months – in a way that doesn’t make them want to tear their own hair out."
Haatch led the pre-seed round for the artificial intelligence native insurance broker to expand its engineering and data teams.
"After nearly 20 years in the industry, I’ve seen just how little has changed. Insurance is still too reliant on paperwork, underinsurance is far too common, and fees are often higher than they should be. We built Meshed to change that, to bring costs down for SMEs, give them the right protection and make the whole process faster, simpler, and more transparent."
Morgan Stanley led the seed round to support platform expansion and data science development.
"Despite 90% of the UK’s 33.8 million female population experiencing monthly hormonal symptoms, women’s health has for too long been fragmented and underserved. Unfabled has already empowered thousands of women to find effective treatments for common, yet hugely disruptive, hormonal and reproductive conditions like PMS, Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS), endometriosis and menopause."
SFC Capital led the pre-seed round, which will help Furbnow expand its supplier network for home energy upgrades.
"Everyone deserves a warm, comfortable home without costly bills and yet 11.7 million homes sit at the D energy rating or less. Sadly, energy efficiency has been the poor relation to the low-carbon technologies that grab headlines. But if your home is cold and draughty, no amount of Co2 savings is going to be better for you. We’re building Furbnow to be the go-to platform for homeowners who want advice and support as they plan and install low carbon technologies and energy efficiency elements in homes,"
The London-based mortgage intermediaries platform will use the fresh capital to accelerate product development and customer growth.
