Workbooks secures £16.6m from BGF to expand its CRM platform and US operations.
The investment was led by BGF to accelerate product development and international growth.
Workbooks provides a mid-market software platform that integrates sales, marketing, customer support and commercial operations. The company serves hundreds of clients across the UK and the United States.
Workbooks has secured £16.6m in investment from BGF to scale its go-to-market strategy and enhance its product development. The funding will focus on deepening integrated workflows across sales, operations and finance, alongside supporting expansion in the United States.
As part of the transaction, BGF has facilitated the appointment of Julian Harper as Non Executive Chair through its Talent Network. The company aims to build on its market position by offering a lower total cost of ownership and comprehensive capability compared to legacy alternatives.
BGF led the funding round through investment professionals Jack Teasdale and Harry Kernick. The capital injection marks another addition to BGF's deployment activity across the UK technology sector.
