Eka Ventures is an early-stage venture fund integrating impact investing into mainstream venture capital by backing sustainable and health-focused consumer businesses.
FoodLabs and Eka Ventures led the seed round to support product expansion and new clinical trials.
"They’re finally feeling validated. They go to the doctor time and time again and they’re dismissed, being told their symptoms are not connected, what they’re dealing with is normal… they finally feel like a sense of validation, like I was right all along"
The funding round was led by Gresham House Ventures with backing from Balderton Capital, Eka Ventures, and Wavemaker360.
"The biggest bottleneck in healthcare isn't cost; it's access. Specialists are concentrated in a handful of postcodes; patients aren't. 32Co and Aerox have already brought expert dental treatments to areas of the UK where such treatments were inaccessible, proving the concept that specialist care could be democratised if the right technology layer existed underneath it,"
Albion VC led the Series A round to support nationwide clinic expansion and international growth.
"The healthcare supply-demand gap remains a major challenge, with over 390,000 people waiting for treatable MSK care in England alone. Finn, Ric and the team have proven that autonomous care pathways can deliver strong outcomes at scale. They’ve earned NHS trust, navigated complex regulations, and built a service that improves access to care. Having proven the model in MSK, we believe the opportunity ahead is far larger,"
The seed round was led by Eka Ventures to support technology development and platform expansion.
"If you’ve ever bought a house in the UK, you’ll know exactly how painful the conveyancing process can be. Something that should take a matter of days can drag on for months, leaving you unsure when – or even if – you’ll get the keys to your new home. These delays are completely avoidable. We built Conveyd to remove unnecessary back-and-forth, so home buyers get complete purchases in weeks rather than months – in a way that doesn’t make them want to tear their own hair out."
