The funding round was backed by investors including Greenwood Way Capital, Kelvin Capital, and the Scottish Investment Bank.

The ethical video platform has raised £1.2m from backers including You & Mr Jones to grow its commercial team.

The financing round was supported by Equity Gap, Scottish Investment Bank, Old College Capital and Hillhouse Group.

Through the application of biotechnology, MiAlgae is finding solutions to feed the world’s population, and with the global aquaculture industry set to double in size in the next ten years, this is a very promising business indeed."
The Series B round was led by Temasek and the Scottish Investment Bank to fund the development of mobile-ready LiFi components.
