Current Health operates an enterprise remote care management platform that monitors and manages patient health in the home. The system integrates data from various monitoring devices to help health systems and pharmaceutical companies deliver care outside clinical settings.
Current Health has secured £9m in a Series A funding round led by MMC Ventures, with participation from Legal & General, Par Equity, and the Scottish Investment Bank. The company will direct the capital toward scaling its patient management platform to prevent illness globally.
Founded in Scotland, the business provides an end-to-end platform that combines wearable sensors and machine learning algorithms to track patient health trends in real time. Its technology is currently utilised by major healthcare organisations across the United Kingdom and the United States.
The fresh capital supports the firm as it opens a New York City headquarters and expands its workforce across sales, clinical operations, and marketing functions.
