"In 10 years, every company will have an AI department in the same way that they have an IT department today or risk losing relevance, and Encord will be the only platform they need to accomplish the process of turning data into functional AI models,"
The Series A round was led by Eight Roads Ventures with backing from MMC Ventures, Crane Venture Partners and Winton Ventures.
"We are facing a new reality whereby attackers are advancing more quickly than legacy approaches can keep up with, but hybrid and multi-cloud environments are far more complex than we yet know how to defend. Added to this, the volume and speed of data is beyond what legacy architecture was ever designed to handle. The daily headlines show legacy approaches don’t work and if we don’t do something courageous now as a security community or we aren’t going to stand a chance in the future. We chose to partner with Eight Roads Ventures because of their ability to support SenseOn’s vision, thanks to their collaborative partnership style, their strong knowledge of the cyber industry and their global footprint."
The Series A round was led by IQ Capital with participation from Crane Venture Partners and Backed VC.

At Foundries.io, our team’s deep expertise and experience has helped us to reinvent how devices are secured and managed. The seed round was led by Crane Venture Partners to support international demand and product development.
"OpenSensors was founded to use data to measure, understand and improve the world around us. How we work and live are changing faster than we could have ever anticipated. There is a real opportunity for humanity to rethink how we use the physical world with sustainability in mind as well as making the design of workplaces better for people using them. Businesses need an efficient way to gather data about their office buildings to manage capacity so employees can return to the workplace safely and rethink design based on need rather than the status quo."
Dawn Capital and Tiger Global Management co-led the round, which will fund team expansion.
"Despite significant investments in data-focused technologies and teams over the last decade, most enterprises are still unable to deliver targeted outcomes from data in a timely and scalable manner. The secure data sharing and collaboration capabilities of Harbr’s enterprise data exchange platform fast-track those outcomes,"
The Series C financing was led by SBI Investment and Salesforce Ventures to support international expansion and product development.
"We chose to invest in Onfido because they have proven their expertise at using artificial intelligence to effectively fight fraud, giving businesses a safe and secure way to scale their businesses online."
MMC Ventures led the seed round to support international expansion and technological scaling.
"Cyber-attacks are one of the greatest concerns for the modern business. Organisations’ networks are becoming increasingly complex and accelerated tech adoption creates additional noise for attackers to hide within. Meanwhile, attacker innovation is growing, and their techniques evade current cyber defence tools, which are unable to differentiate between genuinely malicious threats and merely new or unusual activity."
