Re:infer secures £3.2m in seed follow-on funding from Crane Venture Partners to expand platform capabilities
The London-based artificial intelligence start-up has raised additional capital to extend product features and grow its specialist teams.
Re:infer develops conversational data intelligence software that extracts operational insights from business messaging. The platform uses machine learning to process digital communications at scale for large enterprises.
Re:infer has secured £3.2m in a seed follow-on investment round led by Crane Venture Partners, with participation from IP Group, Seedcamp, and several independent backers. The capital will be deployed to broaden the functionality of its conversational data platform and expand its headcount across artificial intelligence research, engineering, sales, and customer success.
Evolving from a University College London research laboratory in 2015, the firm provides zero-code tooling that converts enterprise messaging into structured, actionable information. The fresh funding follows a period of client acquisition among major banking and insurance institutions, alongside increased sector interest in natural language processing technologies.
From the founder
"Businesses today often struggle to know what their customers want. But how can this be when customers are constantly – and loudly – telling them just that? It’s a problem of scale and manpower – there are too many messages and too few people to process them all. Precious insight is getting lost in the digital noise."
