Midven backs the teacher recruitment platform through the Midlands Engine Investment Fund to accelerate expansion.
The seed round was backed by Cambridge Angels, Angel Academe, Syndicate Room, and Founders Factory, with Alex Hirsch leading the investment.
"The idea for Scale XP came when – particularly once the pandemic hit – we identified a huge demand among the small business community for an easy-to-use tool that can support them on their growth journey. We wanted to give them an easier way to oversee their business performance, holistically, so that they can thrive. I’m delighted by the huge interest and support from the VC community and female founder networks like Angel Academe to help us realise this mission. It’s fantastic to have Alex on the Advisory Board to help us scale the business quickly."
Future Energy Ventures led the convertible note round with participation from Nextlaw Ventures and the UK Future Fund.
"Our positive customer feedback and strong partner support continue to give us confidence in what we are doing, and the strength to continue to make an impact. Together we will keep on having fun, making money, and doing something good as we help companies navigate an increasingly complex regulatory environment."
The oversubscribed Series B round was co-led by Dawn Capital and Target Global.
"Copper has achieved tremendous growth over the past 12 months. I am incredibly grateful to our talented and growing team whose hard work is reflected, in part, by this highly successful funding round. I would also like to express my thanks to our investors who continue to support Copper and our ambitious plans to expand across the globe, and cement ClearLoop as the go-to for the clearing and custody of digital assets. Their backing, and continued support from our strong client base, is a testament to the quality of the business we are building."
The funding round was led by InHealth Ventures with backing from AlbionVC to scale digital therapy provision.
"The UK is facing a mental health crisis. Demand far outsrips supply and technology has a vital role to play in closing that gap. We’re immensely proud of the lives we’ve already changed through Healios. This funding will help us reach more families in need and enable us to develop further sector-leading interventions and therapies. By bringing together clinical experts and giving them the tools to reach their patients regardless of where they are, we are closing the access gap which has plagued mental health provision for far too long."
