Forensic Analytics secures £4.5m Series A investment from Mercia to expand international sales and product development

The investment from Mercia will fund cloud software development and international expansion.
Forensic Analytics develops digital forensics and communications analysis software utilised by law enforcement agencies across the United Kingdom. Its technology processes complex data sets to generate evidential reports that support police investigations.
Forensic Analytics has secured £4.5m in Series A funding from Mercia Asset Management. The capital will be directed towards enhancing the company cloud platform and expanding its operations into international markets. The investment builds on widespread adoption of its digital evidence tools among British police forces.
Mercia participated in the round using its balance sheet and Northern VCT Funds. The funding follows a period of notable growth for the business, which recently received a Queen's Award for Enterprise and helped secure significant convictions through its Cell Site Analysis Suite.
