Traced secures £400k in seed follow-on funding from Henley Business Angels and previous backers to develop its mobile security platform.

Henley Business Angels and previous backers provided seed follow-on capital to fund product development and market expansion.
Traced is an Oxford-based mobile security company that uses artificial intelligence to protect business data from smartphone and tablet threats. Its privacy-focused platform helps organisations secure employee devices against emerging cyberattacks.
Oxford-based mobile security firm Traced has secured £400k in seed follow-on funding from previous backers alongside new investors from Henley Business Angels. The capital will be deployed to accelerate product development on its Control platform and threat detection models, while simultaneously expanding its sales and marketing operations in domestic and international markets.
The raise follows a period of heightened demand for mobile threat defence solutions as remote work and personal device usage expose small and medium enterprises to increased risks. Traced intends to scale its commercial reach to surpass £1m in sales by the 2023 financial year.
