Mercia Asset Management is an AIM-quoted group with c.£1.4bn of assets under management, operating through private equity, debt and venture capital portfolios.
Mercia Asset Management and Pearson backed the Series A round to fund international expansion and team growth.

The funding round was backed by a group of existing investors alongside a grant from the European Innovation Council.

The biomedical startup has closed a £2.3m Series A round backed by Mercia Asset Management, ACF Investors, Wren Capital and Wealth Club.

The oversubscribed funding round includes participation from Mercia Asset Management, Calculus Capital, Downing Ventures, and BGF.

The investment from Mercia will fund cloud software development and international expansion.

Koch Disruptive Technologies led the Series B round to support the commercialisation of the Veros diagnostics platform.

The Birmingham-based tele-optometry manufacturer has raised £2.5m from investors including Midven, Mercia Asset Management and the Future Fund.

Downing Ventures, BGF, Mercia, and Calculus Capital backed the Bedfordshire nanotechnology business in its latest round.
