"Since meeting Patrick and the Sano team, we have been consistently impressed with their unwavering purpose-led strategy to promote access to, and the success of, personalised medicine. To deliver on the promise of this new approach to treatment, there is an urgent need to solve the largest problems in clinical trials: patient recruitment and engagement. This is where Sano’s innovative software platform, which allows them to interact directly with patients, biotech and broader healthcare communities, can be transformational for the future of personalised medicine."
Octopus Ventures led the round as Contingent looks to scale its supply chain risk and transparency software.
"There is an ever-increasing amount of focus on risk management within supply chains and Contingent provides us with a platform to capture the key areas of risk. As we put more of a spotlight on ESG, the team at Contingent is continuously improving the platform, its features and coverage, which supports us as we continue to grow as a business,"
Tiger Global has led a $40m Series A funding round in Weavr to support its expansion into the United States and other international markets.
"We believe an increasingly digital world works better when financial services are provided seamlessly within digital applications. Plug-and-Play Finance is the fastest, easiest and most efficient way for businesses to accomplish this,"
The investment round was led by Atomico and will support international expansion.
"The fertility care model as we know it today is broken because the gap between those who want access to fertility treatments and those who can afford access is greater than ever. Three out of four people who seek fertility treatment never start because they believe the financial burden would be too large,"
Seedcamp led the oversubscribed round alongside existing investors IQ Capital and Playfair Capital.
"Our studio has naturally wanted to transition over the years into being worldbuilding-led so it could not be better timing seeing a new audience emerge that is looking for immersive game-like experiences where they own parts of the universes they love. At Cauldron we have a history of working in markets where we know our art and emotive storytelling can have a dramatic impact and we are seeing the rising base of Web3 players yearning for more."
