The financing round was backed by BGF, Parkwalk, and Meltwind to drive therapeutics discovery in autoimmune and other common diseases.
"Our founders have led the field by developing technology to map 3D interactions on a whole-genome scale, and integrating these data with comprehensive multi-omics datasets. We now have the technological capabilities to decipher the causal biology that drives complex and common genetic diseases, with the potential to develop truly effective new blockbuster therapies."
Parkwalk led the Series B financing, with participation from Meltwind, Newable Ventures and BGF, to widen access to the Censeo platform.
"The continued support from Parkwalk, Meltwind and BGF alongside new investment from Newable Ventures enables us to expand the reach of Censeo, helping more people who are struggling to find the right support for their mental health needs. We’re excited to grow our team, expand further across the NHS and demonstrate with our partners that our technology can make a substantial difference in the accuracy, consistency and efficiency of mental health assessments in a wide range of clinical settings."
Playfair Capital led the seed investment in Qureight, with backing from Meltwind, Ascension, and Cambridge Angels, to accelerate drug development partnerships.
"our next targets are pulmonary hypertension and adverse drug effects in complex lung cancer patients. This funding will allow us to use our platform to work with our biopharma partners to accelerate drug development in these areas."
The funding round was led by Heal Capital and will support team expansion and product development.
"Healthcare touches each and every one of us and the recent pandemic has highlighted that at a global level. It showed the need to bring healthcare closer to people’s homes and that we need to leverage many of the recent innovations in digital health and consumer biotech to capture as many data points about human health as possible. This will transform our understanding of the human body and our approach to disease detection and management. At Sanome we are working toward developing multiple at home health tools to drive disruption within the healthcare landscape to benefit each one of us"
The funding round was led by nChain and Cambridge Innovation Capital.
"Businesses have realised that advanced analytics and rapid innovation is the key to building competitive advantage in a data-driven world, so where billion row queries that took hours were once acceptable, the market now demands trillions of rows and speed-of-thought results. Aside from performance and scale, database technology needs to be built with the future of the connected world in mind – providing flexibility and cost predictability, even as the demands for big data continues to grow."
The seed round was led by Meltwind and Start Codon to accelerate in vivo proof-of-concept studies.
"Incorporation of our technology into ADC products will accelerate and energise the important transition away from the 'one size fits all' approach currently being pursued in ADC development, resulting in novel products with a competitive and differentiated profile. The platform has the power to unlock the development of a new generation of powerful and well-tolerated drugs, which have been so far inaccessible to many cancer patients."
