Syndex Bio secures £11.5m seed investment led by ARCH Venture Partners to scale its molecular diagnostics platform.
ARCH Venture Partners led the oversubscribed round alongside participation from +ND Capital, OMX Ventures, and Meltwind.
Syndex Bio is a biotechnology company developing proprietary molecular technologies to detect epigenetic alterations with unprecedented precision. The firm has introduced its methyl-copying PCR platform to improve molecular diagnostics.
Syndex Bio has secured £11.5m in a seed financing round led by ARCH Venture Partners. Additional backing came from +ND Capital, OMX Ventures, and Meltwind.
The capital will be deployed to expand the company's methyl-copying PCR platform, develop clinical workflows and applications, and scale up its research and development footprint in Cambridge.
Alongside the funding, the firm announced the introduction of its mcPCR platform at the Advances in Genome Biology and Technology conference in Orlando.
