The seed round was led by Seraphim Space with backing from prominent technology founders and investors.
"Persistent maritime coverage has been too expensive for too long. That has limited what governments and operators can actually see, protect and respond to at sea. We built Online Oceans to change that. This funding allows us to scale production and support customers who need a far more practical way to monitor critical waters, protect infrastructure and maintain awareness over long periods."
Seraphim Space led the pre-seed round to help accelerate development of the company decision-layer software.
"Increasingly, the constraint is no longer hardware but human attention. We can deploy more drones than ever before, yet we still ask operators to control them one by one, often in environments where communications are unreliable. True autonomy breaks that one‑to‑one link, allowing humans to supervise and direct teams of systems rather than individual machines. That shift is essential for supporting modern military missions, where scale, speed and resilience matter, and where operators must remain focused on intent and outcomes rather than manual control."
The Series A round was led by Eos Ventures and the Development Bank of Wales to scale investment products and expand operations.

Puma Growth Partners led the Series A financing with backing from several returning investors and angels.
