"We’re making the ocean’s eyes and ears, and we need a lot of them. Seventy per cent of the planet is ocean, and we can barely see any of it in real time. That’s not a sensing problem anymore; the technology works, and it works in the worst conditions on Earth. It’s a manufacturing problem"

The seed round was led by Notion Capital with backing from a16z Speedrun and Concept Ventures 2100.
"Traditional recruitment is often unsuccessful and, so far, AI hasn’t helped much. We’re currently seeing an AI ‘arms race’ to the bottom, with companies being flooded by AI-generated applications, while individuals are often subjected to inhumane – and unethical – screening. Dex offers an alternative. We’re excited about this seed funding, which will drive our ambition of redefining how talent and opportunity connect."
Project A led the seed round for the London-based startup to fuel product development and international expansion.
"We call it giving your website a brain. Because that’s literally what we’re doing. And once you see a website that can think, you can’t go back to one that can’t."
The oversubscribed round was led by Concept Ventures and will support the development of security infrastructure for enterprise artificial intelligence.
"MCP is unlocking a new frontier for AI agents. But, right now, MCP is completely unsuitable for the enterprise. We’re building the security-first solution that will change this. Our open-source platform means anyone, whether you’re an engineer or a HR rep, can safely and impactfully integrate AI agents into their workflow – driving efficiency and impact at scale – without increasing risks. The speed at which we’re moving reflects how passionate we are about this solution and the impact we think it can have in the market."
The financing was co-led by a16z speedrun and Concept Ventures to support product development and international growth.
"Dex’s mission is to empower individuals to do meaningful work byconnecting them with opportunities that align with their ambitions and values. Our aim is to redefine how talent and opportunity connect, globally. We’re working at the forefront of what is possible when it comes to conversational, generative AI and we’re thrilled to have some of the best AI investors in the world helping us to achieve that vision."
