Dex secures £2.3m pre-seed funding from a16z speedrun and Concept Ventures to scale its artificial intelligence recruitment platform.

Dex develops an artificial intelligence talent agent that connects software engineering professionals with technology companies. The platform conducts conversational interviews to match candidates with suitable roles.
London based recruitment technology startup Dex has secured £2.3m in pre-seed financing. The investment round was co-led by a16z speedrun and Concept Ventures, with additional backing from several prominent angel investors including Charlie Songhurst, Nilan Peiris, Eric French, and Stephen Whitworth.
Funds will be deployed to accelerate product development, expand engineering and growth teams, and support international expansion as the company moves out of closed beta. Dex operates an artificial intelligence recruitment platform designed to improve candidate and employer matchmaking through voice interaction and machine learning.
