Archestra raises $3.3m pre-seed funding led by Concept Ventures to secure artificial intelligence agent deployments.
The oversubscribed round was led by Concept Ventures and will support the development of security infrastructure for enterprise artificial intelligence.
Archestra develops an open-source platform that helps businesses connect artificial intelligence agents to internal company data securely. The system provides guardrails and permission tools to prevent autonomous agents from exposing sensitive information.
Archestra has secured £3.3m in pre-seed funding to develop its security platform for artificial intelligence agents. The oversubscribed round closed in under two weeks and was led by Concept Ventures. Additional backing came from Zero Prime Ventures, Celero Ventures, RTP Global, and Aloniq, alongside several angel investors including executives from BCG, Nginx, Runa Capital, incident.io, and Elevenlabs. The fresh capital will support the company as it scales its open-source integration platform designed to give enterprises control over autonomous AI workflows.
Founded by serial entrepreneurs Matvey Kukuy and Ildar Iskhakov, who previously exited companies to Grafana and Elastic, Archestra aims to solve the compliance and security challenges associated with connecting large language models to internal data sources. The platform acts as a model context protocol orchestrator, allowing employees across departments to utilise autonomous agents without risking data breaches or unauthorised access to sensitive company files.
From the founder
"MCP is unlocking a new frontier for AI agents. But, right now, MCP is completely unsuitable for the enterprise. We’re building the security-first solution that will change this. Our open-source platform means anyone, whether you’re an engineer or a HR rep, can safely and impactfully integrate AI agents into their workflow – driving efficiency and impact at scale – without increasing risks. The speed at which we’re moving reflects how passionate we are about this solution and the impact we think it can have in the market."

Investor perspective
"Just as APIs became the foundational building blocks for internet infrastructure, MCPs are emerging as the connective tissue for improving the context layer of AI tools within enterprise. Archestra is building the infrastructure layer this ecosystem needs. At Concept, we leaned into the teams’ technical depth, open-source DNA, and executional intensity to grow into a leader in the category. The team is attacking a mission-critical problem they’ve lived firsthand, and we’re confident they’ll define how enterprises deploy and govern AI context at scale."
