London-based artificial intelligence video platform Synthesia has secured a £146.3m Series E funding round at a $4bn valuation. The investment was led by existing backer Google Ventures, alongside participation from Evantic, Hedosophia, NVentures, Accel, Kleiner Perkins, New Enterprise Associates, PSP Growth, Air Street Capital, and MMC Ventures.
The capital will be deployed to scale operations and develop agentic systems aimed at improving enterprise learning, knowledge sharing, and sales enablement. Alongside the primary raise, the company organised an employee secondary sale via Nasdaq to provide liquidity for long-serving staff.
The milestone underscores the growth of domestic technology firms, drawing praise from senior government figures including Chancellor of the Exchequer Rachel Reeves.
