The legal AI startup has extended its Series B round with backing from Intact Private Capital and FT Ventures, pushing total funding to $114m.
"Every dollar that leaves a legal team and goes to outside counsel is a decision. Too often, those decisions are made by default rather than by design, because legal teams have never had the infrastructure to handle the work internally. Wordsmith gives them that infrastructure,"
Omega Ventures led the pre-seed round, which will fund product development and team expansion.
"Current AI tools largely improve lawyer efficiency, but efficiency is not enough. Good tools make disputes efficient, but great ones make them disappear,"
Felix Capital led the seed round with participation from General Catalyst and Quiet Capital.
"We are not interested in adding another dashboard on top of that complexity. We are building an AI-native operating system that can make and execute decisions autonomously, at scale and speed,"
