Intropy develops artificial intelligence systems that automate pricing and inventory management for the spare parts sector.

London based artificial intelligence startup Intropy has secured $11m in seed funding to expand its engineering team and scale operations internationally. Felix Capital led the round, with participation from Quiet Capital and returning backer General Catalyst. The company plans to use the capital to grow its machine learning workforce and establish a presence in New York alongside its existing European footprint.

Founded in 2024 by former researchers Franziska Kirschner and YihKai Teh, Intropy builds autonomous software designed to connect directly with enterprise resource planning systems. The platform handles pricing, stocking, and obsolescence decisions without requiring manual oversight, targeting an industrial spares market that has traditionally relied on spreadsheets.

The fresh capital follows strong early adoption figures, with the company reporting that its technology has managed over $10bn in parts demand since launch. Investors noted the founders' technical background and the distinct niche of autonomous execution compared to passive analytics dashboards.

From the founder

"We are not interested in adding another dashboard on top of that complexity. We are building an AI-native operating system that can make and execute decisions autonomously, at scale and speed,"

Investor perspective

"Every product is designed with components, or spare parts, yet the systems managing those parts remain remarkably manual and fragmented. Intropy is building the intelligence layer that can make supply chains faster, smarter and significantly more efficient — ultimately bringing a better product faster into the hands of the end user. We were immediately impressed by Fran and YihKai’s technical depth, domain expertise and ambition,"
