The seed round was backed by Lionheart Ventures, Convergence Partners, and Exceptional Ventures.
"This seed funding and support from major investors who have serious experience in supporting companies to scale, our partnerships with companies in Europe and North America, and getting the green light for the first trial at our London facility, shows that Clerkenwell Health is well and truly open for business. Momentum for psychedelics-assisted therapy is building, and we’re excited to be at the forefront of that charge."
General Catalyst led the Series A round to support the development of virtual ward infrastructure.
"I’m very proud of our team in completing this successful financing round, marking a significant step in Doccla’s vision of making virtual wards a core part of modern healthcare systems. From the company’s beginnings in 2019, we have continued to grow and expand and have received contract extensions from all of our clients, proving the inherent value of Doccla to the healthcare sector. Combining new technology with a service layer and clinical capacity reduces work for the NHS. We look forward to using this new level of support to further build on our success by getting more hospitals on board and developing our technology and clinical capacity to help solve the hospital bed crisis and alleviate the immense pressures on the NHS and other healthcare systems."
The seed round was led by Connect Ventures with participation from Form Ventures, Boost Capital, and angel investors.
"It’s fantastic to be working with such an exceptional partner, Connect Ventures, who share our vision of a world where each patient on every clinical trial is supported and heard throughout their journey"
The virtual fertility clinic raised funds from MTIP and Iris Ventures to accelerate international expansion and technology development.
"MTIP’s deep-rooted understanding of the healthcare landscape combined with Iris Ventures’ expertise in the consumer space will be invaluable as Apricity enters its next stage of growth and we expand into more regions."
