Apricity secures £14.7m Series B funding led by MTIP to expand across Europe
The virtual fertility clinic raised funds from MTIP and Iris Ventures to accelerate international expansion and technology development.
Apricity operates a virtual fertility clinic that combines reproductive medicine with proprietary mobile technology and artificial intelligence. The firm offers personalised patient support and treatment tracking to improve conception rates.
Apricity, a virtual fertility clinic based in London, has secured £14.7m in a Series B funding round led by Swiss healthtech investor MTIP, with participation from consumer specialist fund Iris Ventures. The capital will be deployed to accelerate domestic growth, launch into new European markets including Spain, Germany and Italy, and further develop the company technology stack, which features artificial intelligence algorithms and 3D embryo reconstruction.
Founded in 2018 and initially incubated by Kamet Ventures, the clinic combines digital tools with clinical care to assist patients through fertility treatment. The company has experienced rapid expansion over the past year, doubling its revenue and customer base, while also scaling its corporate employee benefits offering through partnerships with corporate clients and insurers such as AXA and Reward Gateway.
MTIP Managing Partner Christoph Kausch highlighted the firm position as an early pioneer in virtual healthcare models. Meanwhile, incoming board member Marc Dietrich and Iris Ventures founder Montse Suarez pointed to the rising importance of fertility technology and consumer-centric healthcare delivery as key drivers behind the investment.
From the founder
"MTIP’s deep-rooted understanding of the healthcare landscape combined with Iris Ventures’ expertise in the consumer space will be invaluable as Apricity enters its next stage of growth and we expand into more regions."

Investor perspective
"The virtual business model has really taken off across the healthcare industry, and Apricity was one of its pioneers. Rather than focusing on just one part of the fertility journey, Apricity is using cutting edge technology to transform the end-to-end experience for patients and has seen incredibly strong traction as a result."
