The round was co-led by Vectr7 Investment Partners and The FSE Group to expand production of composite timber.
"We believe that every tonne of plastic that gets incinerated is a missed opportunity to deliver low-carbon materials to a construction sector that desperately needs affordable and long-lasting assets. The backing of Vectr7, the South West Investment Fund, FSE and other investors is an important step; it gives us the resources to scale manufacturing, whilst continuing to develop the systems behind our materials and respond to growing pressure on industry to find better uses for plastic waste."
The funding round was supported by Vectr7 Investment Partners and existing shareholders alongside the Innovate UK Investor Partnerships Programme.
"This funding allows us to move faster with our growth plans and support the development of new products. Our goal is to provide a simple solution for landlords and homeowners to reduce energy use. We are pleased to have the continued support of our investors as we work to make homes warmer and healthier for residents."
Vertex Exploratory Fund and Clean Growth Fund co-led the £4m round to accelerate international expansion.
"The Vertex Exploratory Fund actively seeks out disruptive frontier technologies with climate as one of the core themes in our investment strategy. measurable.energy stood out as one of the most promising startups in the UK in the climate space, offering a low-touch, intuitive, and compliance-ready solution that effectively reduces power waste. The company is at the forefront of providing the tools necessary to drive positive change and the Vertex Exploratory Fund is proud to partner with them on this journey."
The funding round was led by JamJar Investments and will support the opening of new locations in Twickenham and High Wycombe.
"The founding idea is simple – that opportunities are not evenly accessible to all talented people in the country, because we have assumed for so long that co-locating in city offices is a necessary precondition to success,"
Clean Growth Fund led the financing round alongside backers including Vectr7 Investment Partners and MMC Ventures to support research and recruitment.
"Our technology offers a simple solution for office occupiers who are under pressure to take action and cut energy costs and reduce emissions. Our solution can pay back financially within two years and allows business customers to reduce their electricity bills by at least 20%."
