Reading and London based tech start-up measurable.energy has secured £4.5m in Series A funding to support research and development alongside team expansion. The round was led by Clean Growth Fund, which contributed £2.5m, with additional participation from Vectr7 Investment Partners, RO Capital Partners, and MMC Ventures. Existing backer Bonheur ASA also participated in the financing.
The company develops intelligent power sockets equipped with machine learning capabilities designed to identify and eliminate idle energy consumption in commercial properties. With businesses facing heightened energy costs and strict environmental targets, the fresh capital will allow the firm to scale its operations and prepare for an entry into the residential market.
