The seed round was co-led by Trust for London, Resolution Ventures, Ufi Ventures, and Second Century Ventures to fund growth into housing associations and domestic abuse safe houses.
"This seed round is a vote of confidence in our mission to normalise women in the trades and provide a more inclusive experience for homeowners, strategic partners, and tradeswomen alike,"
The funding was backed by Ufi Ventures and Haatch to support expansion across major British contractors.
"Traditionally, demonstrating your team and subcontractors have the skills they need to meet regulation or mandatory technical competencies relied on manual card checks, managing spreadsheets and fragmented skills matrices. Certchain makes all this centralised, digital and live. What used to take months can be done in minutes, enabling our clients to take a more proactive standards-based approach to skills management and compliance – with continuous monitoring, forecasts, and alerts on emerging risks and issues across your organisation and supply chain"
The financing round was led by Cornerstone with backing from several early stage investors.
"Rising care costs, an overstretched social care system, and the demands of daily life can leave families feeling guilty and stretched thin as they think about their elderly loved ones. That’s why I’m thrilled to back George and Alex as they build Gladys, a managed social care platform that makes it easy to find and book trusted caregivers and companions. Their mission is close to my heart: giving families peace of mind and helping everyone grow old with dignity, in the home they cherish, for as long as possible."
The investment was led by the West Midlands Co-Investment Fund alongside Ufi Ventures to support content expansion and international localisation.
"This investment will have a huge impact on Assemble You and our mission, allowing us to tackle the widespread problem of disengaged employees head-on. Traditional digital training methods simply aren’t working, and we’re providing a solution that’s not only more engaging but also truly accessible to everyone, including deskless and neurodiverse workers. This funding will enable us to expand our content library, reach more learners, and ultimately create a more skilled and future-ready workforce."
The investment was backed by Ufi Ventures and existing investor TwinklHive to support product development and international growth.
"We are delighted to be able to provide further support to Fabrio. Jay, Anirudh and team have worked hard over the past 18 months to successfully launch Fabrio into schools and universities and we are excited to follow them on the next stage of their journey"
