TaskHer has secured £650k in a seed round co-led by Trust for London, Resolution Ventures, Ufi Ventures, and Second Century Ventures, with participation from angel investors via Daring Capital. The funding will support expansion into B2B markets, including housing associations and women's refuges, alongside platform development and network growth.
Launched in 2022 by Anna and Paul Moynihan, the platform seeks to address the underrepresentation of women in the UK trades workforce, where female workers account for under three percent of the total sector. The company has previously raised pre-seed capital and a crowdfunding campaign on Crowdcube.
Investors highlighted the social impact of opening up employment pathways and tackling the gender pay gap in a traditionally male-dominated industry.
