The London startup secured backing from Pentech and Speedinvest to drive the development of its neural image compression software.
"As humans, our eyes have evolved to care about certain colours and properties of the natural world. It helped us survive as hunters and gathers. We are more sensitive to the colour green as it represents fertile areas with food and water; we notice the slightest of movements in still scenes, as this helps us flee from sneaking predators."
The financing round was led by Beringea with participation from new and existing investors.

The seed round was led by Speedinvest to support the development of disinformation detection technology.
"While I was building my previous start-up I saw at first-hand how biased, polarising news articles were shared and artificially amplified by vast numbers of fake accounts. This gave the stories high levels of exposure and authenticity they wouldn’t have had on their own."
