Impala raises £8.9m in Series A funding led by Stride.VC to expand its hotel software platform.
The Series A round was led by Stride.VC, Kima Ventures, and Jerry Murdock to support platform expansion and new integrations.
Impala provides a platform that enables hotel software vendors to connect directly to hotel inventory and services. The technology streamlines data exchange for a sector that has historically relied on manual spreadsheets.
Impala has secured £8.9m in a Series A funding round led by Stride.VC, with participation from Kima Ventures, Jerry Murdock, Speedinvest, Venrex Investment Management, and members of the DST Global partnership.
The capital will be deployed to expand the platform and enable integrations with a broader range of hotel systems. CEO Ben Stephenson noted that the investment will also allow intermediaries such as online travel agencies and travel management companies to manage bookings.
The company links vendors to hotel software stacks, turning legacy data into accessible APIs. While current infrastructure limits integration to roughly 30% of global hotels, the firm aims to modernise a $2 trillion industry heavily reliant on emails and spreadsheets.
