"Large-scale, fault-tolerant quantum computing will bring about the technological revolution of our generation. We have built an exceptional team dedicated to the mission of building the quantum networking infrastructure necessary to make this a reality. We are grateful to the investors who share our vision for their support as we scale and commercialise our solution."
The oversubscribed seed round was led by Seraphim Capital and will finance the construction of the company's inaugural satellite.
"We believe that high resolution infrared satellite data holds enormous promise for positively impacting the world. A combination of poor resolution, high cost and infrequency of data capture has held back the application of this high impact dataset for decades. We’ve backed Satellite Vu because it alone has the technology to address all these issues and make high resolution infrared the next major category of Space data."
The investment concludes the company's Series A round and was backed by Octopus Ventures and Seraphim Capital.
"We’ve been talking about the potential of drones to radically transform all sorts of industries for a long time now, as the number of applications is huge, but for it to be viable, we need a system that can manage drones and, eventually, other types of unmanned air traffic at scale."
The seed round was led by IQ Capital with participation from Episode1, Join, and Seraphim Capital.
"2021 will be the year when Natural Intelligence will challenge deep learning in solving some of the most fundamental short-comings in autonomous applications and this funding round will set Opteran on a path to be at the forefront of this next wave. Already in a position to demonstrate the technology, we are confident that Natural Intelligence will become highly sought after as the way to deliver lightweight, low-cost and effective autonomy in a radically new way that will open up huge growth opportunities for robotics."
Amadeus Capital Partners led the Seed round, with backing from Ahren Innovation Capital, IQ Capital, Cambridge Enterprise, Martlet Capital, and Seraphim Capital, to fund new labs and recruitment.
"Our aim is to enable the potential of quantum mechanics using quantum photonics hardware. This funding will allow us to do just that – a world-class multidisciplinary team and our new laboratories will give Nu Quantum the ability to deliver meaningful demonstrations of our technology into the hands of customers and partners for the first time."
The funding round was led by Seraphim Capital and Opea Holding to support research and development and go-to-market efforts.
"We are so pleased that Seraphim Capital and Opea Holdings are continuing to invest in Bamboo with another strong show of support for our unique server architecture,"
The oversubscribed round was backed by new investors eCAPITAL and Seraphim Capital alongside existing backers.
"Developers are struggling to cope with the need for trusted solutions for cybersecurity and functional safety. UltraSoC is uniquely able to provide such features at the fundamental hardware level. eCAPITAL and Seraphim add sector-specific focus and expertise in cybersecurity and in the aerospace ecosystem, where functional safety and reliability are paramount. I’m delighted to have secured their support alongside our existing major investors who have recommitted in this latest funding round."
The seed round was led by Vaekstfonden with participation from Seraphim Capital and existing investors to expand deployment in maritime and aeronautical sectors.
"Our technology alleviates a massive pain point for our customers and will ensure high quality communications with minimum interference at a competitive price. We’re thrilled to be backed by our investors, including the team at Seraphim, which brings with it a great deal of sector-expertise as the world’s leading space-tech focused venture capital fund."
