"It is clear that most of the innovations shaping the future – from vehicles and data centres to robotics – are fundamentally physical. And, to enable efficient innovation they should not be financed by venture equity alone."
The round was co-led by Inven Capital, 2150, and AENU to accelerate fleet expansion and software development.
"Travelling by bus or coach doesn’t have to be rubbish. The seed round was led by Octopus Ventures to support the development of ecological measurement platforms.
"Companies struggle to track their supply chains, and governments and regulators lack the data to enforce regulation and effectively pursue biodiversity goals like the UN’s 30 by 30. With affordable, scalable analytics of species-level data, we can better incentivise and track change in biodiversity over time, and open up new, impactful and secure mechanisms of investment."
The Copenhagen-based electric vehicle platform will use the capital to enter North America and develop new grid management services.
"We are aiming to fully digitalise the EV ecosystem to tackle all the immediate challenges within the industry and build toward a more transparent and flexible future. By partnering with hardware OEMs, we can deliver new features straight out of the box, like our new feature that allows operators to set a percentage on top of the spot price in order to follow the market fluctuations and automatically offer a fair price for charging,"
