Monta secures €30m in Series A+ funding led by Energize Ventures to fuel international expansion.
The Copenhagen-based electric vehicle platform will use the capital to enter North America and develop new grid management services.

Monta provides an all-in-one management platform designed to simplify the deployment and operation of electric vehicle charging infrastructure.
Copenhagen-based electric vehicle charging platform Monta has secured €30m in a Series A+ funding round led by Energize Ventures. Returning backers including Creandum, Pale Blue Dot, byFounders, and Headline also participated in the financing, which brings the firm's total funds raised to €50m.
Monta will direct the capital towards entering the North American market while further cementing its footprint in the UK, Germany, and Scandinavia. The company also intends to accelerate product development, focusing on grid management capabilities and vehicle-to-grid integration services.
Founded in 2020, Monta offers software that helps charge point owners and drivers manage infrastructure, payments, and pricing transparently. The transaction remains subject to regulatory approval and is expected to close later this year.
