London-based Ploy operates a cloud-first identity governance and administration platform that automates access management.
London-based cybersecurity enterprise Ploy has gathered £2.5m in a funding round led by Osney Capital. Additional backers joining the round include Superseed, Tiny, and Rule30, alongside a group of angel investors with backgrounds in the security sector.
Established by former Metomic executives Jacob Prime and Harry Lucas, the firm focuses on automating access management to counter identity-related security vulnerabilities. Its platform integrates with cloud applications to offer real-time oversight and administrative automation for mid-market businesses.
The newly secured capital will be directed towards advancing product development and driving international expansion.
From the founder
"Spreadsheet-based access tracking is now a legal and security liability. They need real-time visibility into who has access to what, before attackers or regulators find the gaps. That’s exactly the problem Ploy solves."

Investor perspective
"Identity sprawl has become a significant issue for organisations of all shapes and sizes, but particularly those with modern technology stacks; which often comprise hundreds, or even thousands, of SaaS applications"
