"Synthesia is a UK success story, creating new jobs and opportunities in this country. It shows that by backing innovators to start, scale and stay in the UK through better access to finance and generous tax reliefs, we can turn the promise of AI into better-paid jobs and long-term growth across the UK."
The financing was co-led by New Enterprise Associates and Temasek with participation from a broad group of strategic investors.
"Next-generation AI compute, clean air and water and sustainable energy – these multi-billion-dollar global challenges share a common barrier: materials. CuspAI’s mission is to change that. In just a year, we’ve gone from concept to partnerships with world leaders in automotive, semiconductors, energy, and climate."
The financing values the enterprise video platform at $1bn with backing from Accel and NVIDIA's NVentures.
"We’ve made great strides towards our vision to make video easy for everyone, but there’s still a long way to go. I’m proud of our team for building Synthesia into a sustainable company that today delivers real business utility, not just novelty, for our thousands of customers,"
