London-based industrial technology company Orbital Industries has raised $50m in a Series B funding round led by Plural. The capital will support the commercialisation of the company's AI-designed cooling fluids and modular data centre systems for next-generation graphics processing units.

Participation in the round came from new investor NVentures alongside returning backers Radical Ventures, Compound, and Fly Ventures. Orbital Industries employs 50 staff across its London and San Francisco offices, leveraging its proprietary atomic simulation engine to accelerate hardware development.

The financing addresses mounting infrastructure bottlenecks in compute density, as traditional water-based cooling and legacy chemical compounds face stricter regulatory limits. The firm's technology aims to compress development timelines from a decade to several months.
