"Invention is how we solve humanity’s biggest challenges, yet the systems that protect those ideas are decades out of date. AI will redefine how global organisations innovate over the next five years, turning IP from a cost centre into a growth driver. The companies that adopt Ankar now will shape the future of innovation."
The financing comprises £13m in equity and a £100m debt facility from Crédit Agricole CIB.
"Sunsave was founded in 2022 with a mission to make solar and battery storage accessible to all UK households. Since launch, our £0 upfront subscription has seen rapid adoption, helping homes save hundreds of pounds on their energy bills and make a real difference to their finances. This £113M fundraise is a significant milestone in our journey – it will let us meet rapidly growing demand, launch new products, and give customers peace of mind that we’ll be here to support them for the long term."
Norrsken led the seed round alongside IPGL, Plug and Play, and notable angel investors.
"We’re demonstrating to UK consumers that being green doesn’t have to be a choice between doing what’s right for the environment or doing what’s best for your pocket. With Sunsave’s solar subscription you can go green and save money immediately. With energy prices expected to remain elevated for the foreseeable future, this is more important than ever."
The funding round was led by Quantum Energy Partners with participation from corporate and existing investors to support global expansion.
"We have a once in a generation opportunity to build environmental and ecological restoration into the heart of the economic model. Starting with carbon, effective ecosystem markets have huge potential to accelerate the Net Zero transition and generate economic prosperity. Developing the information infrastructure that allows these markets to take off is fundamental to their growth. The raise will ensure we can continue to invest in our ratings, risk and analytics tools to make this vision a reality."
VNV Global led the Series A round to support international expansion and product development.
"We are delighted to be partnering with Collectiv to help achieve our sustainability objectives, whilst also delivering material savings. Their innovative approach to supply chain fits well with our vision to be London’s leading boutique restaurant group and enables us to meet the growing customer demand for greater quality and traceability."
