Sunsave raises £113m Series A funding led by Norrsken VC and IPGL to scale solar subscription service

The financing comprises £13m in equity and a £100m debt facility from Crédit Agricole CIB.
Sunsave is the UK first FCA-authorised solar subscription provider, offering fully maintained rooftop installations without upfront costs. The business combines hardware, software and financing to help households reduce their energy bills.
Sunsave has secured £113m in a Series A funding round co-led by Norrsken VC and IPGL, alongside a £100m debt facility from Crédit Agricole CIB. The capital will be used to scale the company's solar subscription service across England and Wales, helping tens of thousands of households adopt rooftop solar and battery storage. Additional participants in the equity raise included Clearance Capital, early employees from Wise, Lord Michael Spencer, Lord Stuart Rose and Roland Rudd.
The business has experienced strong growth since introducing its Sunsave Plus subscription in January 2024, removing the traditional barrier of high initial expenses. The fresh funding will enable the company to meet growing demand and eventually expand its offering to include electric vehicle chargers, heat pumps and smart tariff optimisation.
